Anne P. Ogan, C.F.A.
President

 
Anne received her Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Radcliffe College in Harvard University in 1969. Since then, she has been continously been a member of Cleveland's professional investment community. Her experience began with research positions at Union Commerce Bank and Ball, Burge & Kraus. She held institutional sales positions at two leading New York institutional firms, Salomon Brothers and First Boston Corporation. As Vice President at First Boston from 1979 to 1988, Anne was an equities specialist when that firm's research department consistently topped the rankings in the prestigious Institutional Investor All-Star polls. In 1990, Anne became a Managing Director of McDonald & Company where she had served as Director of Research since 1988. She was also a member of the Investment Policy Committee. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Mrs. Ogan served on the Executive Committee of the Cleveland Society of Security Analysts for 15 years and was the organization's president in 1987-1988.

William D. Proper, C.P.A.
Chairman

 
In 1967, Bill  received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Miami University, where he majored in accounting. As a Certified Public Accountant, he joined the audit staff of Ernst & Ernst and worked there until 1971, when he left to join Laks & Wynbrandt. At Laks & Wyndbrandt, which became Laks & Proper when he became a partner, he was responsible for total client service to a variety of corporate and individual accounts. While working at Laks & Proper, Bill received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree from the Cleveland State University Marshall College of Law. Although Bill is not engaged in the practice of law, the firm's  investment management clients benefit from his extensive knowledge of taxation, ERISA retirement regulations, and estate planning.

Debbie Bonhard
Investment Administrator
 
Debbie  joined The Proper Analysis in October, 2009.  She is also affiliated with Proper & Associates, Inc.  where she has worked as a paraprofessional since 1994. Debbie has extensive experience with payroll taxes, bookkeeping and income tax return preparation. At The Proper Analysis, she will be executing trade orders and assisting with portfolio management.  Debbie graduated from Miami University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting.

Tina Cappelli 
Client Associate 
Tina joined The Proper Analysis as Client Associate in July, 2006.  Tina has 21 years experience working with Proper & Associates, Inc., as firm administrator.  There, other than her role as William Proper's Executive Assistant, her duties involved preparation of clients' income tax returns and managing the accountants' workload for the company.  She has been the "go to" person there for many years.  For The Proper Analysis, she handles client relations, new account paperwork, disbursements and contributions, transfers, charitable contributions, etc.  Tina graduated from Bryant & Stratton College in Cleveland, Ohio.

Greg Goldfeder, C.F.A.
Senior Research Analyst  
Greg joined The Proper Analysis as Senior Investment Analyst in May, 2006.  Previously  he worked as an investment research analyst for Gardner Lewis Asset Management in Chadds Ford, PA.  He earned his MBA in finance from Villanova University in 2001.  Prior to business school he worked in new business development in the telecommunications industry.  Greg earned his BA in political science from the University of Michigan in 1994.  He has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2006.

Lisa Wheeler Neely
Senior Relationship Manager
 
 
Lisa brings 25 years of experience in the financial community to her role at The Proper Analysis.  Her career has been devoted to working with individuals and business owners on their investment management, estate and philanthropic planning matters.  Throughout her career, Lisa has successfully developed and deepened client relationships, recently in the Private Bank at Key Corp., where she also created Business Owners' Roundtables to showcase prominent thought leaders in Cleveland.  Prior to her role at Key, Lisa led Comerica Bank's Strategic Alliance practice, which served to fill the fiduciary needs of the clients of three national brokerage firms.
 
Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.  She is actively involved on the Advisory Board and the Leadership Team of the Gordon Square Arts District which uses live theatre as a catalyst for economic development on Cleveland's near west side.  Lisa also works actively with the Chagrin Foundation for Arts and Culture and for Access to the Arts which enriches the lives of seniors.  Lisa is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland.

Lisa Stanko
Client Associate 
Lisa joined The Proper Analysis as Client Associate in August, 2006.  Lisa has 15 years experience as the administrative assistant for Proper & Associates, Inc.  There, along with her role as William Proper's assistant, her duties involve billing, income tax processing, database management and preparation of clients' income tax returns.  At The Proper Analysis, she handles client relations, new account paperwork, disbursements and contributions, scheduling meetings/portfolio reviews, transfers, etc.  Lisa graduated from Bryant & Stratton College with an Associate Degree in Applied Business.
